Anvil International Introduces Angular Motion Spring Assembly

Anvil International Introduces Angular Motion Spring Assembly

Angular Motion Spring Assembly Eliminates Supporting Steel & Reduces Field Welding Costs

EXETER, N.H., Nov 16, 2018 -- Anvil International, LLC, the most complete provider of domestically manufactured and globally sourced products for piping systems continues to expand its’ spring hanger portfolio with the new Fig 868 Angular Motion Spring. Like traditional Type F Springs, the Fig 868 supports the piping or equipment from below however, unlike traditional Type F springs eliminates the resultant forces (friction forces). The complete hanger unit permits +/- 5º angular motion and in most cases doesn’t require additional supporting steel eliminating material costs and reducing field weld labor.

Recently a well renowned EPC working on a power project required these type of springs expedited to meet their project timeline. Other pipe support suppliers could not handle the short lead-time. Anvil came to the rescue and rose to the challenge. In just 5 weeks, the product was designed, manufactured and delivered successfully to be installed on site.
